		<description>FYI:  The book titled, &quot;Bragg  The Miracle of Fasting&quot; has been a tremendous source of inspiration to me.  In a nut shell, you have to earn your health given god and the environment willing.  
&quot;The MS Recovery Diet&quot; is a book written in 2007 by a woman with a PHD
and MS.  It is also a worthy resource in the struggle to get well.
Another book called, &quot;The Most Frequently Asked Questions&quot; by Dr Maras
regarding wellness is the foundation I have based my latest and most successful attempt to optimize my health.

		<description>I have had MS for 15 years or since I was diagonosed.(63 now) I have kept myself moving no matter what. My feet really hurt after I have been on them. Walk with a cane as balance is really bad and the right leg is the most affected. Feet feel heavy most of the time. No meds at all for MS but have heart pills as I had a heart attack 10 years ago. My Neurologists does not give me any meds as he says they do more harm than good. He recommends supplements like Vit D- 1000 units 3 times a day I take robaxacet and tylenol only. Heat really bothers me so I try to remain cool and its not hard here in Winnipeg, Mb as it gets to minus 30 or more in the winter. Summer is a bit different. Humidity can be a pain. I am going to try these extra supplements and try not to eat yogurt and cheese too much even though I have Osto. Good luck everyone and even though we all have our mood swings and depression times I find that having a positive attitude and throwing the word&quot;CAN&#039;t&quot; out of my vocabulary really helps me. Try it and maybe it will work for you too. I sometimes don&#039;t feel like getting out of bed somedays and feeling sorry for myself(as I was a very active person) but I get mad at myself and get moving while I still can and I tell myself that there are more people out there worse off than me. That helps also.</description>

		<description>Praising God for His marvelous help to us in all situations is the best medicine anyone can take.  Ask for prayers from those you trust and know are like-minded.  * Dr. Cartwright&#039;s supplement and dietary suggestions are excellent, as well.

Listen to classical music, no words, just soothing beautiful melodies. Mozart is a terrific example!

Exercise!  Moderately, always to your ability and level.  Yoga is good, but many poses must be modified for them to be helpful to you.  Dahn Yoga (South Korean) is a personal favorite for its emphasis on stretching and gentle movements.  On my website is the address to purchase a DVD made especially for and by MS students.  YOU CAN DO IT!

I have had MS for 17 yrs.  Ive been following diet and taking vitamins for one year now with slight improvement such as no purple feet anymore. And in Australia during summer that is good.
